In early November I travelled to Atlanta, GA to meet with football great and Hall of Fame Member Fran Tarkenton. Fran and I were introduced by a mutual friend who suggested that he and I would get along quite well and that we had a lot in common. And, my friend, was right.
Now, I am not a football Hall of Fame Member. In fact, the only time I played football on a team was in eighth grade. I wasn't a quarterback. Even then, I was a big guy. So, of course, I played defensive tackle. So, it wasn't my skill in the game of football where we found our common ground.
Rather, it was a passion for helping people reach their full potential in life where Fran Tarkenton and I found our common ground. We both have a passion for facilitating excellent relationships and positioning themselves for the best quality of life possible.
As I met with Fran in his office in Buckhead, GA, a suburb of Atlanta, I couldn't help but notice the number of awards, both for football

and business that adorned his corner office, as well as the hallways and offices of his associates at Tarkenton Financial Services. They are all the result of his mantra "Every Day is Game Day." This is also the title of his new autobiography.
Fran is a person who is committed to helping people win the game. One of his strategies is through the Tarkenton Financial Services Group. This is a company that is dedicated to helping seniors between the ages of 55-79 preserve, protect and grow their retirement savings, plans and other financial assets in no risk investments that will provide a healthy safe return. It is all about protecting senior's assets and retirement.
It became obvious to me that Tarkenton Financial was in line with my passion and vision for the work that I am doing through Greater Things Financial Services. Fran and his team have created an excellent array of services, educational programs and opportunities that will equip seniors with the knowledge and capability to protect their assets and retirement. And, let's be honest, the last two years have been pretty brutal on retirements, pension plans, 401K plans and the like. It's time to protect ourselves and all that we have worked for and will work for in the future.
Of course, if you or someone you know would like an individual consultation, I will be happy to get together with you.
